How do you like your eggs?
How do you eat breakfast? Is it a leisurely affair with time for teapots and toast racks or do you grab a snack on the hop on your way to work? Whether full English, Continental, drive-through golden arches or a bowl of something healthy at your desk, breakfast is a ritual many swear by. And it’s something that inspired my career.
I’m not talking about cooking, I’m a useless cook and the art of poaching eggs is still one I need to master. I’m talking Snap, Crackle and Pop, about reading and the stories on cereal boxes that entertained my breakfast from childhood.
In fact, before I even knew what Tone of Voice or branding was, these three little words had an impact on my day – and they still do today. Because they hold the key to compelling communications for every business.
Snap: Is your headline that grabs your attention
Crackle: Is the difference you offer and what makes your business unique
Pop: And pop is your Call to Action – what clinches the deal and hooks your customers in.
If breakfast is the most important meal of the day – your first message is most important conversation. It’s my job to boost your business and give your brand a recognisable and consistent voice in the marketplace – to help you write the words that sell and tell your story. Whether through an article, blog, tweet, strapline, brochure, sales letter, radio script, storyboard or website – anything that involves writing words for your business is where my expertise lies.
So, when you’re lost for words – Cat’s got your tongue.
